Master Scuba Diver certification is a wonderful option for those who love to dive and want to further their skills. The North American scuba training agencies offer this certification. These include the National Association of Underwater Instructors and Professional Association of Diving Instructors.

NAUI Master Scuba Diver

The NAUI Master Scuba Diver is the most highly sought after certification in recreational scuba diving. This course requires students to complete an introductory scuba dive, at least two open-water dives, and a rescue dive. The program is an ongoing education opportunity that emphasizes classroom discussions, practical application, student participation, and student involvement. E-learning courses must be completed before students can begin their first session. Students also need to spend at least 23 hours studying in class with an instructor. Topics covered include diving equipment, diving Physics, deep diving and search and recovery. Students will also need to pass an exam on water skills that is equivalent to the one required for a NAUI Assistant Instructor.
