
PADI's Specialty Emergency First Response (EFR+CFC) course is designed to prepare individuals for situations where they may need to apply first aid. Content
EFR courses are a great way for you to increase your self-confidence and be more prepared to deal with emergency situations. The course teaches simple procedures for emergency care and gives participants hands-on practice in a stress-free environment. Self-study books, video demonstrations, quick reference cards, and video tutorials are included in the course materials. It also meets the requirements for professional ratings and the PADI Rescue Diver course.
CPR, rescue breathing (scene assessment), and basic first-aid are just some of the courses. The training also teaches participants how to treat common diving injuries. You will also learn how to bandage, splint and prevent infection. Students will also learn to protect their bodies from harmful substances and pathogens. This course will teach you how to rescue people from potentially life-threatening situations.
Pre-requisites
PADI Emergency First Responder course is a 1-day program that trains participants to quickly respond to life-threatening medical emergencies. The program includes skills and classroom training as well real-life practice. There are no age restrictions or pre-requisites for this course.

Non-divers as well divers can take the course. The course covers CPR and first assistance emergencies. With the help of quick reference cards or videos, participants are taught how to respond quickly in such situations. This course is compliant with the CPR/First-aid training requirements of the PADI Rescue Diver as well as all professional levels in the PADI Scuba Diver program. PADI instructors also have the ability to instruct Emergency First Response.
Requirements
Participants in Emergency First Responder Training gain confidence and are better equipped to assist others in times of emergency. This course covers lifesaving skills such as CPR, first-aid, and primary care. It also emphasizes the importance to minimize risks. Non-divers can also be trained so they are more ready to assist in an emergency.
After completing the EFRI course, students can take the PADI Instructor Examination. Each course is numbered sequentially and begins with the EFRI prefix. Each course lasts for one hour. It includes 55 minutes class time and five minute breaks.
Refresher course
EFR Refresher Courses are designed for those who want to improve their skills. This course includes two parts: a Skill Building session and an Exam. EFR refresher courses are optional, but recommended by the EFR Instructor Handbook. During the refresher course, you will learn the latest developments in the field of first aid and CPR. AED usage will also be covered. Additionally, you will be able to instruct others on how to perform these skills in an emergency.
The EFR course is a great way to brush up on your skills and meet the requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course. It also fulfills requirements for Professional Rescue Diver training and other courses requiring CPR. It also includes an Emergency First Response Videos, which help participants prepare for emergencies as well as preview the skills they'll be using during the skills-development session.

Cost
The Emergency First Responder course is a one-day course that covers all aspects of emergency response. It includes classroom lessons, video presentations, role-play scenarios, and CPR, first aid, and AED use. The course is an important part of PADI certification. It costs approximately 6,900 THB per participant. The course fees include the manual and two years of PADI certification fees.
