IDA71 and Closed Circuit Rebreathers

There are many options for rebreather models that can keep you breathing in water. The IDA71, AP, as well as Closed-circuit rebreathers are just a few of the options. Learn more about the specifications of these devices. These devices are made to keep you breathing air and maintaining an optimal EANx mixture.

Closed-circuit Rebreathers

Closed-circuit breathing apparatuses are breathing devices that can be used by divers or other people who have a restricted air supply. These devices include the following four components: the head assembly (OPV), Bail Out Valves (BOV), and counterlung assembly. The bottom section contains the water trap and drain.

The closed-circuit regulator keeps the exhaled gases in a closed loop. It filters the gas and then recycles it back to the diver. The diver can inhale without fear of the system contaminating with toxic gases. The closed circuit system also allows for the diver's to see the oxygen partial pressure. The dive computer can show the diver his maximum dive time, air pressure, depth, and air pressure.

An oxygen control valve is part of the closed-circuit rebreather. It is connected to a dilute tank. The diluent tank holds a 42 gram gas block. The gas block is equipped with an inlet hose 44, and a feed tube 46. A manual addhose runs from the gasblock to the regulator. A second hose (called the secondary) connects the oxygen control cylinder 28 to the rebreather heads 36.

IDA71 rebreather

Marine and military divers use the IDA71 rebreathing device. Rysk, Russia, was responsible for its development. There are currently 71 models. The Russian terminology used for insulating breathing apparatus gave the names their origins. The simmotstand of the models is minimized. They are also equipped with an oxygen diluent.

The IDA-71 is similar to IDA-59, but it is smaller and can be worn on one's back. It is compatible to a heavy work helmet and can be integrated into a full dry suit for hazardous environment. The IDA-71 has been extensively used for heat exchanger surveys in nuclear power stations and covert military functions.

Its design has been hailed as one of the most unique in the industry. It can provide divers with a more extended dive time. It is equipped with a small oxygen cilindro that allows the rebreather circuit to fill before the diver initiates the diving process.

AP rebreather

The AP rebreather series offers a range of options to suit every budget and style. Each model is customizable with the possibility to choose between 3 different chassis sizes and 5 different harness sizes. There are also two different scrubber lengths. Comfort and versatility are also key features of the AP line. There are multiple upgrade options available that will make your rebreather more comfortable and easier to use.

AP Diving has been in the business of diving equipment for over 45 years. They strive to be the best at all they do and are dedicated to supporting technical and sport diving. The company's rebreathers are unique in design and manufacturing processes that allow them to guarantee quality and consistency. The company also manufactures a complete dive machine, including tanks as well as BCDs and tempstiks.

Adjustable flow orifices allow divers to control the flow of air while they dive. This allows it to automatically adjust for fluctuations in oxygen partialpressure in the diving loop. These rebreathers can also be carried around easily because they are lightweight.
