The Anchors

The Anchors is a museum unlike any other, with six sculptures that have been submerged below the water. They are the faces of famous people. The television show "The Anchors" featured the heads and faces of "Today" anchors. It was created to promote an article about the museum. Another exhibit is "The Ear," an audio-visual device that records the sounds and vibrations of marine life. This exhibit explores the link between humans, the sea, and each other.

The Banker

The Banker Underwater Art Museum is an immersive experience perfect for anyone who loves the ocean and arts. The sculpture park is located in Grenada and Cancun and will also be Europe's first subaquatic museum when it's finished in 2017. Jason deCaires Taylor uses marine-grade cement for his works, which incorporate sea life.

Ocean Siren

Ocean Siren, an underwater art museum in Townsville, Australia has been opened. The bizarre statue appears to be a woman standing out from the water holding a seashell. Takoda, a Wulgurukaba tribe member, designed the sculpture. The sculpture uses color-changing LED light that changes colors depending on the temperature. A weather station on the Great Barrier Reef collects data that allows visitors to easily identify the sculpture's different shades at night.

Ocean Siren is a statue modeled after a young Wulgurukaba girl

Ocean Siren, an interactive statue, can be found just beyond Townsville's Strand Jetty. It was made to represent the ocean and to inspire conservation. The statue stands 12 feet tall and is 16 feet wide. Its colors change to reflect the ocean temperature. This statue was created in collaboration with scientists and local indigenous people.

Ocean Siren changes its color depending on the water temperature

The Ocean Siren statue is a Townsville landmark and has a message to scuba divers. DeCaires Taylor in Australia designed it. Johnson is an Aboriginal Wulgurukaba member, who are traditional land owners. The 16-foot sculpture was made from solar panels and is meant to warn people about the rising temperature. This installation could help to restore coral reefs destroyed by climate change.
