Requirements

The journey to Master Scuba Diver requires patience, dedication, and hard work. You have the option of a PADI "Internship" to help you get there. The Practical Assessment part of the Divemaster training program has four sections. There are multiple performance requirements. These criteria will be used to determine the score of candidates: Certified divers, open water divers, and restricted water divers. Practical Assessments evaluate professionalism, etiquette as well as knowledge of safety diving.

You have many options for courses

There are some things to consider when choosing a school or program for master diving. A diving license is required to dive. You can also choose to specialize in scuba, snorkeling or deep diving. Also, you'll need to learn how to use a camera to control your buoyancy. Although diving isn't difficult, it can be hard to learn how a camera works, even for beginners. No matter what your instructor might tell you, dive to your limits.

Exam

PADI Master diving exams require candidates to demonstrate their scuba skills. Individuals will have different requirements. Candidates will be required to track themselves before, during, and after a dive. For this exam to pass, candidates must demonstrate each skill at a score not less than four. For exam preparation, the following information may be helpful:

Liability releases

The Master diving liability release is a legal document that dive operators and instructors must sign to allow their clients to participate in scuba diving excursions. This form is important because if the diving equipment fails, a diver may sue the company that created the equipment or the rental company that provided it. Ralph Huntziner, a California plaintiff in a class action suit against Aqua Lung, is an example. Aqua Lung's dive computer failed, causing serious injuries to the diver and even death. The device informs divers of the remaining air time and pressure. As a result, a class action lawsuit was filed and a settlement reached for millions of dollars.
