
White Point dive in Los Angeles is one among the most exciting. It has white bacterial mats along the bottom and is close to the hypo-thermal hotsprings. The dive site also features an old shipwreck, rock reef, and kelp beds. Here you will also find giant sea stars, urchins and cold water anemones. The best time to dive is at high tide.
Leo Carillo
Leo Carrillo is a California state park that lies along the southern coast in Los Angeles County. It is part the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The park has 1.5 miles stretch of beach that extends to the Santa Monica Mountains. There are many opportunities for scuba divers to explore the beautiful waters off Leo Carrillo State Park's coast.
Divers can choose three main dive sites in Leo Carrillo. These dive sites are great for beginners, with easy entry points and plenty of parking. They're also a popular site for night diving and lobster hunting, and there's plenty of marine life to see.

Santa Barbara Island
Santa Barbara Island offers some outstanding offshore dive locations. You can take a boat ride to reach these amazing dive sites. These sites are usually rocky and are good hunting and photography grounds. These areas are home to healthy kelp and purple hydro coral. You can also see the ocean from this area, which is great for Southern California waters.
It is possible to kayak and snorkel on the island. If the weather permits, you can even go tent camping. It is also home to large numbers of pinnipeds such as harbor seals, northern Elephant seals, and California Sea Lions. Visitors can spot these animals in the rocky areas around the sea lion rookery, which are located at a number of overlooks on the island.
Anacapa Island
There is a wide variety of marine life on Anacapa Island. The area is home to one of the first Marine Protected Areas in the United States. This area offers great diving for both beginners and seasoned divers. The water around the island is relatively warm, making it ideal for wetsuit diving. Surface temperatures can easily reach 70deg F (21deg C) in the late summer and fall. However, temperatures can drop to as low as 50 degrees F (10 degrees C) in the winter months. A 7mm wetsuit should be used. Visibility is usually at least 100 feet (30M) during these months.
Dive charter boats, as well the Island Packers, can take you to Anacapa. The island has many dive spots, including an arch rock that is 40 feet tall. These sites can also be viewed from the surface using snorkeling gear.

Veteran's Park
Veteran's Park on Ocean Drive is a Green Space that features a playground and fields. This park is great for families who want to spend quality time together. It is close to beaches. You can enjoy a stunning view of the ocean at the park, especially on a sunny afternoon. It's open all year round and has lots to offer.
The parking lot makes it easy to get to the park. Veteran's Park is the ideal place to begin your diving adventures if you're a beginner diver. It's easy to reach with parking and restrooms. The meter can be checked at all times. There's also an outdoor shower that can be used to clean up your gear. There's also a changing room, but the bathrooms close at dusk.
