IDA71, AP and Closed Circuit Rebreathers

certified diving

There are many options available if your goal is to have a rebreather that keeps you breathing water in the air. The IDA71, AP, as well as Closed-circuit rebreathers are just a few of the options. These devices have many features. These devices are made to keep you breathing air and maintaining an optimal EANx mixture.

Closed-circuit rebreathers

Closed circuit rebreathers can be used by divers and anyone with limited air supply. These devices consist of four basic assemblies: the head assembly, the Over Pressure Valve (OPV), the Bail Out Valve (BOV), and the counterlung assembly. The water trap and drain are located in the bottom section.

The closed circuit rebreather holds the exhaled gas within a closed loop. This allows for it to be refreshed, filtered and returned to the diver. So the diver is able to breathe normally without having to worry about toxic gases entering the system. The closed-circuit system allows the diver also to see the partial air pressure. On his dive computer, the diver can see the dive duration, air pressure and depth.

An oxygen control valve is part of the closed-circuit rebreather. It is connected to a dilute tank. A 42-gram gas block is kept in the diluent tanks. The gas block contains an inlet tube 44 and a feed tube 46. The gas block is connected to the rebreather via a manual add hose that runs 50 feet. A second hose, called the secondary hose, connects the rebreather head 36 to the oxygen control valve 28.

IDA71 rebreather

The IDA71 rebreathing system is used by both military and marine divers. Rysk in Russia developed the IDA71. The industry has 71 models. The names are derived from the Russian terminology for insulating breathing apparatus. The simmotstand is minimized in the models. They also come with an oxygen diffuser.

The IDA-71 is similar to IDA-59, but it is smaller and can be worn on one's back. It can also be integrated with a work helmet, and a suit that is fully dry for use in hazardous environments. The IDA-71 was extensively used in heat exchanger surveys at nuclear power plants and covert military functions.

Its design is very innovative and is one of the most advanced in the world. This can allow divers to dive for a longer time. It comes with an oxygen cilindro, which allows the rebreather circuit of the dive boat to fill it before the diver starts the diving process.

AP rebreather

There are many options available for divers with different budgets, including the AP rebreather. Each model can be made customizable by choosing from 5 different sizes of the chassis, 5 different harness sizes and 2 different scrubber durations. The AP line was also created with comfort and versatility as a priority. You can choose from multiple upgrade options to make your rebreather even more convenient and comfortable.

AP Diving was founded in 1975 and has been in the industry of diving equipment manufacturing for over 45 years. They strive to be the best at all they do and are dedicated to supporting technical and sport diving. Their rebreathers have a unique design and manufacturing process that allows them to ensure quality and consistency. They also make a complete diving machine that includes tanks, lungs, and BCDs.

The AP rebreather is equipped with adjustable flow orifices. This allows divers to regulate the flow and direction of air while diving. It will adjust automatically to fluctuations in oxygen partial pressure within the diving loop. These rebreathers also weigh less so divers can easily transport them around.
