A Dive Specialist is a subset that allows divers to gain valuable skills in different areas. Specialties enable divers to make a positive difference on every dive. This type is usually specialized in a certain area of diving and may specialize in particular equipment. Enriched Air Nitrox EANx, Deep Scuba Diving, and Boat Diving are some examples of these specialties. Below are more details about these diving specialties.

Deep Scuba

There are many Deep Scuba diving specialties. Advanced Diver certification is for certified divers. They can also go deeper. Deep Scuba divers need knowledge about the effects of pressure, breathing, and diving. As their body functions and systems get more exposed at deeper depths, deep-scuba divers will need to be aware of how they breathe and what it means for them. A safe deep dive should be planned and executed. Some specialties require additional training. But, certification requires a few prerequisites.

Underwater Navigation

Navigation is essential in scuba diving. Scuba divers need to be able to navigate underwater, regardless of whether they are trying to find an object or dive to a beautiful coral reef. Navigation is important to a scuba diver, and learning to use the compass correctly is essential to this skill. You can practice underwater navigation in many ways, including using the compass and natural references.
