Costa Rica's diverse marine life draws divers to it. Costa Rica waters can be home to many aquatic species, such as humpback whales and dolphins, bull sharks or bull sharks. Cano Island

When planning your visit to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, you should be aware of the transportation situation. Puerto Viejo is not equipped with parking lots so many people park at the roadside. If you drive your own car, please park at your lodging. You can then walk or bike around the town's center. You can also take an official red taxi around town or call a taxi at any local establishment.
